TRAVESSIA é o primeiro EP de Alex Buueno, DJ e produtor musical de Curitiba/PR. Inspirado na experiência de uma viagem à Superagui, uma ilha do litoral norte do Paraná, o projeto gráfico usa fotos pessoais e uma tipografia clássica para recriar aquela atmosfera esotérica e mágica que foi ponta-pé da criação do EP.
A progressão presente nas batidas e melodias eletrônicas das músicas traduziu-se visualmente em uma progressão cromática, ou seja, um gradiente baseado no céu e no amanhecer de Superagui. As fontes escolhidas sustentam dois aspectos conceituais: as ligaturas da fonte serifada Nero Alto criam movimento e “travessias” entre as letras, e a geometria da ITC Avant Garde Gothic, fonte sem serifa, cria contraste com a fonte principal e traz atemporalidade ao todo. A composição é emoldurada por esse gradiente, como uma tela ou um portal, que se conecta com o ponto focal central da imagem, direcionando o olhar.

TRAVESSIA is the first EP by Alex Buueno, a DJ and music producer from Curitiba/PR. Inspired by the experience of a trip to Superagui, an island on the northern coast of Paraná, the art direction uses personal photography and classic typography to recreate the esoteric and magical atmosphere that was the starting point for the creation of the EP.
The progressive electronic beats and melodies of the songs was visually translated into a chromatic progression: a gradient based on the sky and sunrise of Superagui. The chosen fonts support two conceptual aspects: the ligatures of the serif font Nero Alto create movement and “crossings” between the letters, and the geometry of the ITC Avant Garde Gothic, a sans serif font, creates contrast with the main font and brings timelessness to the whole. The composition is framed by this gradient, like a painting or a portal, which connects with the central focal point of the image, directing the gaze.
